About Confectioner's Studio

Confectioner's Studio is a family business and a dream come true.  Owned and operated by Will and Vanessa McDonald--we officially opened in May 2007, after taking over Calliope Designs and Confections from the very talented Lora Mahaffey.  We are a boutique bakery that specializes in creating simply exquisite works of art that taste incredible. From incredible wedding cakes, truffles, and fudge to artistic individual desserts for the most upscale event--we can accommodate your needs for a small dessert to an event for two thousand or more. Will McDonald has been baking for more than 15 years. He is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University with his degree in Baking and Pastry. Will is a trained Pastry Chef, as well as an accomplished Chocolatier. Will has appeared on the Food Network's show, "Food Finds" and has won awards for his recipes.
